Dr. Ridlon relocated to Cedar Creek, Texas, just before starting high school, and fell in love with Texas after having visited the area to see her grandparents for several years in a row in the summers.
She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Entomology, as well as a Certificate of Public Health in Entomology. She continued her education at Texas A&M, where she graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025. During veterinary school, Dr. Ridlon was an active member of the Zoo, Exotics, and Wildlife Club, and the Veterinary Medical Business Association. She also volunteered her time performing spay and neuter surgeries for a local shelter and helped to train other veterinary students in surgical procedures.
Dr. Ridlon has a particular interest in exotic pet medicine and surgery, with an ongoing commitment to continuing education in order to provide the best care for all species. Whether it's reptiles, birds, or mammals, she strives to offer compassionate and effective treatment. She has gained hands-on experience through her work with a variety of organizations, including rehabilitation and medical care for hundreds of exotic species at various rescues and zoos, and assisting with neonatal care at an aviary near Austin. Dr. Ridlon is eager to bring her passion and expertise to the Cornerstone community.
Outside of work, Dr. Ridlon enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, and tending to her garden. She shares her home with her fiancé, a Bluetick Coonhound, tortoises, and several geckos.
